Chocolate Cinnamon Cake

 

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 sticks margarine
1 cup water
3 tablespoons cocoa
2 eggs (well beaten)
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 cup buttermilk

In a bowl mix together flour, sugar and salt. Combine margarine, water and cocoa in a saucepan and bring to boil. Stir into flour mixture. Add eggs, soda and buttermilk and stir. Pour into 13x9 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
 

Chocolate Icing


1 stick margarine
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 pound powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 tablespoons milk
Nuts (opt)

Combine all ingredients and beat until creamy. Spread on cake.
