Cowboy Stew
1 pound ground beef In 5 or 6 quart Dutch oven (or heavy cooker with lid) crumble ground beef and brown well. Add next 5 ingredients and sauté in browned meat until soft. Add salt, pepper, chili powder, sugar, and stir well. Add tomatoes, corn, beans, cubed potatoes and water. Stir this all together and bring to boil, stirring frequently to keep from scorching. Turn down heat and cover. Simmer until potatoes are soft (about 30-40 minutes). Makes 8 servings.
